The Cat’s Corner dance school invites you to a Swing, Tap, Blues workshop

In this workshop, we’ll learn a choreography that’s emblematic of the tap and lindy hop dance community: the Shim Sham Shimmy.

The Shim Sham is a routine that dates back to 1928, choreographed by Leonard Reed and Willie Bryant. At the time, it was used as a final number for dance shows, bringing all the artists together on stage. Still popular today, it is regularly danced at social dance evenings, bringing together dancers of all levels of experience in a convivial moment of sharing. In its simplicity, it allows everyone to add their personal rhythmic touch, their sense of style, with mischief.

A must-discover routine!

Sunday, March 24th from 10.30 am to 12 pm.
