Class details
Perineal re-education sessions help restore muscle tone. Exercises include contractions of the muscles surrounding the vagina, especially the muscles that lift the anus. Important to know: women who have given birth by caesarean section are not exempt from perineal re-education.
A weakened perineum can have a number of consequences: urine leakage, risk of incontinence or organ descent (prolapse), most often during the menopause in women.
Men can also be affected. Male perineal rehabilitation is a way of preventing and combating urinary incontinence in men, particularly after prostatectomy.
A distended perineum can also impair sensations during intercourse. Re-education of the perineum is therefore very important.
Equally important, perineal rehabilitation can be performed at any age. It’s best to start exercising young. This will bring a sense of well-being into your life.
The benefits :
– Toning of the abdominal belt.
– Improved trunk-pelvis stability.
– Better posture and body posture.
– Stabilization of viscera in their original position.
– Prevents (or even avoids) incontinence.
